How to Play

Congratulations, you are so close to playing your first game of 4 Kings!

Watch the video above (you're early! the video is not on the website yet), or follow the rules below!

To start the game, gather your group in something resembling a circle, and separate the PLAYING cards from the DARE cards. Shuffle the playing cards, and spread all of them out face down in a pile in the middle of your circle.

Now that your playing cards are set, you have two options on how you want to choose your dares:

You can find 4 dares in the dare card pile which you want the Kings to complete.

You can set all of the dare cards face down, so that the Kings pick at random.

Now that your game is all set up, you begin flipping cards.

To decide who goes first, find whoever woke up earliest that day and let them begin the action.

When a card is flipped, follow the prompt! These prompts will determine who flips the next card. When you pull a KING, pull a DARE card and complete the dare at the end of the game!

FACE

When this card is drawn, every player touches their face. Whoever touches last draws the next card.

YOU

When this card is drawn, the person who drew this card chooses who draws the next card.

When this card is drawn, the person who drew this card draws the next card as well.

FLOOR

When this card is drawn, every player touches the floor (or table you're playing on. Whoever touches last draws the next card.

DRIVE

When this card is drawn, every player puts their hands up like they're on a steering wheel. Then the "drive" mini-game begins to see who draws the next card. Refer to the video above to learn the drive mini-game.

FLIX

When this card is drawn, the person who drew this card names a movie. Then, going clockwise, each player has to name a movie until someone is stumped, and has to draw the next card.

HEAVEN

When this card is drawn, every player points to the sky. Whoever points last draws the next card.

SAFE

This is a safe card. The person who drew this card holds onto it until they draw a King. Then, the King returns to the pile, and the safe card is discarded.

RHYME

When this card is drawn, the person who drew this card picks any word (besides orange, of course.) Then, going clockwise, each player has to say a word which rhymes with that word until someone is stumped, and has to draw the next card.

CATEGORIES

When this card is drawn, the person who drew this card picks a category (I.E. Car Brands.) Then, going clockwise, each player lists something belonging to said category (I.E. Jeep, Kia, Ford, etc.) until someone is stumped, and has to draw the next card.

BACK

When this card is drawn, the person who flipped the previous card flips the next card.

QUESTIONS

When this card is drawn, ask any player any question. They then respond to this question by asking a different question to another player. This game ends when someone:

- Answers a question

- Can't think of a new question

- Repeats a question

DARE

When this card is drawn, the player who drew this card pulls a dare card. At the end of the game, complete all 4 dares.
